Winds are light from the NW on the South on the South Coast this morning, and conditions are glassy but still a bit lumpy. Surf is small at around 1′ along Middleton – Goolwa stretch, Waits and Parson’s will be slightly bigger and you’re only hope for a shortboard wave this morning. The forecast predicts variable winds for the next few hours, but eventually an onshore sou-easter will take hold and turn it to mush. Swell should begin to pick up a bit after lunch, but it’ll be messy. You should be well into the festive cheer by then. Merry Xmas! Shred factor 4/10
