Looking good on the South Coast this morning with a lift in swell overnight and light WNW winds. Surf is fairly clean and well lined up between Middleton and Goolwa, a good 4′ on the sets – maybe a tad bigger down toward Cliffs. There are 4′ sets around at Chiton and The Gap, and smaller waves at The Dump – all clean early. Waits and Parson’s will be solid with wind favouring Waits provided you can find a bank holding the larger swell. The breeze will tend more onshore SW and conditions will deteriorate during the morning. Part sheltered spots like Middleton Bay pr The Dump will hold out a bit longer. Get on it early – the weekend also looks solid but mostly onshore. Shred factor 8/10
