South Coast

A bit of a surprise with very light offshore North winds on the South Coast early this morning, and glassy / slightly lumpy conditions. Swell has eased overnight and surf  is around 3′ along the Middleton – Day St. stretch with  a few bigger sets down toward Goolwa, and glassy 2 – 3′ waves around at Chiton / Gap. The forecast predicts winds will start to waft back onshore during the morning, and pick up from the South again after lunch. It’ll probably start to deteriorate from mid – late morning onward, so get on it early. Shred factor 7/10
