Mid Coast

The wind is back to a light sou-easter on the Mid Coast, and conditions are clean early. The swell has dropped a bit but there are 1′ waves on the reefs with occasional bigger sets, and the tide coming in until 9am. After that we go into dodge mode, and the tide doesn’t move much for the rest of the day. The wind should be light fro the next few hours, but it’ll probably pick up a bit late morning and tend more SOutherly ( possibly even SW ) after lunch. Depending on how far the wind goes round there will be a few bumps, but a late return to SE winds should clean it up again this evening. Surf will remain in the 1’+ range, outlook for the rest of the week is in the updated surf forecast. Shred factor 5/10.
