South Coast

Very light East winds are allowing glassy conditions on the South Coast early, but there’s a bit of leftover lump in the swell. Surf is still 3 – 4′ between Middleton and Goolwa and a bit wobbly, with glassy / peaky 2 – 3′ waves around at Chiton / Gap. There’s probably a couple of hours of light winds, but eventually the sou-eater will kick in and up the lump factor. The swell should hold up OK today, but quality will definitely be better earlier than later. Outlook for the rest of the week is in the updated surf forecast. Shred factor 5/10.
