Mid Coast

There are only tiny lines on the Mid Coast this morning, but conditions are glassy with winds just a puff from the North. Waves are barely shin high on the reefs and today’s dodgey tide ( sort of low at 1pm, but very little movement after that ) won’t help. Light winds should stick around this morning, but a southerly sea breeze will probably get stuck into it after lunch. Surf will remain small – flat all day. Shred factor 1/10

ESE winds are around 15 knots on the Mid Coast early and conditions are clean, with a small lift in swell overnight. Waves are  inconsistent but a bit bigger at around 1′, maybe a tad bigger on the sets coming up to a nominal high tide at 0830. There’s not much movement in the tide today, and it’ll be the wind that plays a bigger part. Southerlies at 15 – 20 knots will probably make it bumpy after lunch, but a late shift back to the SE will clean it up again in the evening. Shred factor 5/10

Mid Coast

Conditions are clean on the Mid Coast early with SE winds around 12 knots, and a tinyWSW swell. Surf is barely breaking on the reefs coming up to a nominal high tide at 0832. The forecast predicts fresh SE-S winds after lunch, possibly over 20 knots along exposed stretches. That’ll make it bumpy again, although SE winds should return again toward sunset. The Southern end of South Port may offer micro waves and shelter late arvo. Shred factor 1/10

Mid Coast

Winds are light SSE on the Mid Coast early and conditions are clean, but swell remains tiny. There are tiny lines of WSW swell along the coast and the odd shin-high peeler coming up to high tide at 0815. The outgoing tide will have almost no effect other than to expose a few of the reefs  around lunchtime. Fresh Southerly winds will kick in after lunch and push small lines of wind chop up the gulf mid – late arvo, so maybe something for the kids at the Southern end of South Port in the evening. Mid Coast

Conditions are clean on the Mid Coast with light offshore East winds around 10 knots, but swell is small again. There are occasional 1′ sets hitting the reefs, but it’s a bit full coming up to high tide at 8am. The outgoing tide will kill it a bit after 9am, but the beach breaks at South Port and Moana should offer a few peelers heading toward low tide early arvo. Sea breezes are forecast, and they’ll make it bumpy if they get over 15 knots and have any West in them. There’s a good chance it’ll just remain SE all day, with small waves on the reefs again late arvo / evening.  Shred factor 4/10

Mid Coast

Winds are around 10 knots from the E-SE on the Mid Coast early and conditions are clean, but swell is a bit smaller again this morning. Surf is around 1′ on the reefs with occasional bigger sets, coming up to high tide at 0745. The outgoing tide will start to effect it after 9am, but the beach breaks will improve a bit and offer small waves through low tide at lunch. The arvo won’t be any bigger  but there should be some longboard waves on the incoming tide and into the evening. SE winds will be fresh at times after lunch.  Shred factor 4/10

Mid Coast

There’s been a small lift in swell on the Mid Coast overnight, and conditions are clean early with light SE winds. Surf is around 1′ on the reefs, maybe even a tad bigger on the sets coming up o high tide at 0720. It’s a bit full at some spots and the outgoing tide may benefit selected reef breaks before the drain gets too much to it. The beach breaks will work better through low tide at lunch and should have some waist high waves, but we are due for fresh Southerly winds soon after. The arvo is looking bumpy with SSE winds over 20 knots. The Southern end of South Port will be partially sheltered and may offer a Mally wave in the evening.  Shred factor 6/10

Mid Coast

Winds are just a puff from the NNW and conditions are glassy on the Mid Coast early, but swell remains very small. Surf is only around six inches, and it’s also very full and slow coming up to high tide. Not a whole lot will change as the tide starts to head out, although the beach breaks will probably have some learner waves through (very) low tide at lunch. The forecast pedicts a Southerly sea breeze will kick in soon after and add bumps, but there’s every chance it’ll just stay glassy. Surf will remain small to flat. Shred factor 1/10

Conditions are clean on the Mid Coast early with ENE winds around 7 knots, but again almost zero swell getting in to the gulf. All you’ll find this morning are ankle slappers on the reefs, coming up to high tide. Nothing much will change as the tide heads out, with on;y small peelers on the beachies through low tide at lunch. Sea breezes may add some bumps after lunch before a late land breeze kicks in this evening. It’l be flat all day. 1/10

Conditions are clean on the Mid Coast early with light ESE winds, but almost no swell getting into the gulf. There are tiny lines but surf is only around shin – high on the reefs just heading through high tide. Nothing much will change as the tide drains out, and even the beachies will struggle for surfable waves through low tide at lunch. The arvo may see a few bumps from sea breezes but no miracles in the swell department. The breeze will go SE again in the evening, and it’ll probably be flat.  Shred factor 1/10
