Surf around is 5’+ along the Middleton – Goolwa stretch, with 4′ waves around at Chiton / Gap and semi clean 2 – 3′ waves at The Dump. Wind and seas will moderate during the morning, and mid arvo winds are forecast to kick back around to the NW. NW winds are around 15 knots on the South Coast this morning and conditions are still clean early, but probably won’t be for long. Surf around is 4′ along the Middleton – Goolwa stretch, with clean 2 – 3′ waves around at Chiton / Gap. Waits and Parsons will be bigger, although bigger sets will be closing out and wind will soon be a factor. The forecast predicts NW winds will pick up to around 25 knots this morning, tending more Westerly at up to 30 knots after lunch. Everywhere will be blown out probably by mid morning, but swell isn’t big enough for the really sheltered spots to fire. A W-SW change is expected to arrive late arvo / evening.  Shred factor 7/10

Conditions are looking good again South Coast this morning with very light North winds early. Surf around is 4′ along the Middleton – Goolwa stretch, with glassy 2 – 3′ waves around at Chiton / Gap. Waits and Parsons will be bigger, although both spots will be struggling to hold the sets without closing out. The forecast predicts N-NW winds will pick up to around 15 knots this morning, and get stronger after lunch. If the wind gets that strong it’ll become blown out, so get on it early. Conditions are clean with 10 knot offshore Northerlies, and surf around is 2- 3′ along the Middleton – Goolwa stretch, with clean 1 – 2′ waves around at Chton / Gap. Waits and Parsons will be bigger. The forecast predicts N-NW winds may get up around 20 knots this morning and possibly blow it out, but the breeze should back off again after lunch. A late shift to W-SW winds is likely but conditions will probably remain clean all day. Shred factor 8/10

The forecast predicts offshores all day, but strength will increase during the morning – possibly blowing it out before lunch. Fresh offshores will settle in for the arvo, so get what you can early – if you can handle the 4°C air temperature. Shred factor 8/10

Surf is around 3′ along the Middleton – Goolwa stretch, with 1 – 2′ waves around at Chiton / Gap and Waits Parson’s a bit bigger for more experience surfers. Winds look good all day, possibly up around 15 knots at times but not enough to blow it out. Surf is around 4’+ along the Middleton – Goolwa stretch, with 3′ waves around at Chiton / Gap. Winds look good all day, possibly up around 15 knots at times but not enough to blow it out. Swell will probably ease some more after lunch, but conditions will be good from now until sunset. Shred factor 8/10

Winds are back to the NW at around 7 knots on the South Coast this morning, and conditions are clean early. Swell is more Southerly today, and it’s solid with 6′ surf along the Middleton – Goolwa stretch. There’s still some slabs sneaking in along the Port Elliot to Victor stretch as well, with 3′ waves at the Dump and reef magnets between Chiton and Knights bigger. Swell will ease during the day, and it may get a bit blown out along exposed stretches if NW winds reach the forecast 20 knots. It’s pretty good early though. Shred factor 8/10
