Mid Coast

West winds around 7 knots are adding a few bumps on the Mid Coast early, but there are a few lines of swell underneath. A few of the reef breaks are picking up 1 – 2′ sets, but it’s a bit full with high tide at 0650. The outgoing tide will come with a bit more onshore breeze, so everywhere will be wind effected and inconsistent mid morning. Low tide will deliver bigger waves at South Port and a few lumps at Trigs at lunch time. The incoming tide will probably lift wave heights slightly after 2pm, but it will get a bit full late arvo. Winds will stay westerly all day, possibly 10 – 15 knots after lunch but hopefully a bit lighter. Trough, Seaford or 3 Poles might get you out for a bumpy late one. New surf forecast for the week is here. Shred factor 4/10.
