Mid Coast

It’s a chilly morning on the Mid Coast with air around 6°C and the very lightest of land breezes. There are glassy 1′ waves on the reefs with occasional bigger sets, and the tide slowly coming in until 11am. It’s not a big tide today, but having it slowly drain out until 9pm won’t do the fading swell any favours. Winds look light all day and probably won’t get much over 5 – 7 knots, tending E-SE this morning. There’s always a chance of a weak sea breeze adding a few bumps after lunch. The lower tide will favour Trigs and the beach breaks mid -late arvo, so hopefully the wind tends SE-E. Planning to get a new forecast out tonight. Shred factor 5/10.
