Mid Coast

North winds are gusting around 20 knots on the Mid Coast early, pushing bumps down the Gulf of St. Vincent. There’s not really any swell left, and coming off high tide surf is only shin high on a few of the reefs. Not much will change over the next few hours as the tide heads out, and low tide won’t really open up many options through the middle part of the day. A W-SW change will roll through sometime after lunch, probably early to mid arvo. Off the back of it winds will be onshore at around 15 knots, so the Mid Coast will be a bit choppy. It’ll stay that way for the rest of the day, and wave heights won’t top 1′. Outlook for the rest of the week is in the updated surf forecast. Shred factor 1/10.
