Mid Coast

Yesterday’s stormy has moderated overnight, leaving behind bumpy groundswell and lighter onshore winds. There are a few 2′ sets effected by WSW winds around 10 knots, but underneath it’s reasonably well lined up. The tide is now heading out, and a lot of reef will be exposed through low tide between 11am and midday. Trigs and the beach breaks will do better with less water. The wind looks like it’ll stay light onshore this morning, but shhould begin to shift more Southerly early arvo. The incoming tide should produce a few more waves on the reefs early – mid arvo, with some lingering bumps. High tide is at 0530, and there’s a chance of a late sou-easter cleaning it up for some 2′ waves this evening. Shred factor 5/10.
