Mid Coast

Conditions are clean and glassy on the Mid Coast early with light ENE winds, and a few lines of swell still sneaking in. 1′ waves are hitting the reefs with occasional bigger sets, but the tide is starting to head out and that will affect consistency. There’s a very low tide at midday, and it will expose a lot of reef between 11am and 1pm. The wind may also go a bit sea-breezy and light onshore around lunch time, adding a few bumps through the middle part of the day. The incoming tide should see the swell lift a bit with a few 1 – 2′ sets possible, although it will slow down a bit after 4:30pm. The wind will go back to the SE at some stage if the sea breeze kicks in, so hopefully it’s early enough to clean it up fora late paddle. Outlook for the rest of the week is in the latest surf forecast. Shred factor 6/10.
