Mid Coast

There are small lines of swell on the Mid Coast again this morning, but the wind is starting to pick up from the NNE. There’s enough East in it at the moment to not add too many bumps, and surf is around 1′ on the reefs coming up to high tide. As the tide heads out, North winds at 20 knots plus will start to add bumps. The wind will then settle in for the day, tending more NW after lunch at 20 – 25 knots. The swell will probably lift a bit on the incoming tide later, but it will be bumpy. A change will roll though tomorrow and turn winds onshore, but it should moderate quickly. Read more on that in the surf forecast. Shred factor 4/10.
