N-NW winds are already up around 20 knots this morning, and the small swell is getting blown flat. Surf is only 1′ at Middleton, and not really much bigger down through Day St. toward Cliffs and Goolwa. Waits and Parson’s are the only options for shortboarders, with clean waves around 2′. The forecast predicts NW winds will pick up to 25 knots+ this morning, ahead of a change tonight. The rest of today will be small and blown out, but there’s hope of some improvement over the weekend.
