The wind has swung to the SW overnight, and early conditions are choppy on the Mid Coast with a 17 knot sou-wester. Surf is around 1 – 2′ and pretty messy, but at least it should build a bit today. Low tide at lunch should bring semi-stormy waves to South Port and Moana and a few more stormy options may open up after lunch on the incoming tide. The wind may get up to 25 knots at times, but it’s not gonna be a big stormy. Really sheltered spots won’t get enough swell, so you’ll be stuck with a grovel at Seaford maybe late arvo.
