Mid Coast

The wind has swung to the SW overnight, and early conditions are choppy on the Mid Coast with a 17 knot sou-wester. Surf is around 1 – 2′ and pretty messy, but at least it should build a bit today. Low tide at lunch should bring semi-stormy waves to South Port and Moana and a few more stormy options may open up after lunch on the incoming tide. The wind may get up to 25 knots at times, but it’s not gonna be a big stormy. Really sheltered spots won’t get enough swell, so you’ll be stuck with a grovel at Seaford maybe late arvo. It’ll stay onshore and messy for the rest of the day. Outlook for the rest of the week is in the updated surf forecast. Shred factor 2/10.
