Mid Coast

More wind and rain rolled through overnight, but it’s eased early with winds back to the SSW at 10 knots. Gulf waters are choppy and surf is looking pretty sad at 1′ with the odd bigger set. It’s pretty slow and fat with a full-moon morning tide, but after lunch it should be bigger as the incoming tide pushes back in. The wind will tend more SW in the 17 knot range, and surf will stay messy at around 2′ – maybe some bigger sets late arvo. Seaford will get the groms out for a paddle after school, but nowhere will be special today. Outlook for the rest of the week is in the updated surf forecast. Shred factor 2/10.
