South Coast

The wind is cross-offshore on the South Coast this morning and swell has lifted, but conditions remain bumpy. Surf ar is up to 4′ at Middleton, and there are a few bigger sets breaking down toward Cliffs and Goolwa. There are bumpy 3′ waves around at Chiton, with small bumps at The Dump. The arvo should be a bit bigger, so sheltered spots may be worth a look after lunch. The wind will be SW in the 15 – 20 knot range, so anywhere exposed will bear the brunt of it. Middleton Bay will have something all day, Dump may be OK after lunch as well. Outlook for the rest of the week is in the updated surf forecast. Shred factor 4/10.
