Mid Coast

Onshore WSW winds around 15 knots continue to cop up the Mid Coast this morning, and it’s also full and slow coming up to high tide at 0630. Surf is 1′ with faint lines of groundswell, but it’s just a mess really. The outgoing tide won’t fix it, and low tide will only offer chop on the beach breaks at lunch. The wind will swing more SW-S for the arvo, so that’s not going to improve things much either. The incoming tide may provide a minor lift and a grovel at Seaford, and the southern end of South Port will be part sheltered. Not a whole lot of options today though. Outlook heading into the weekend is in the updated surf forecast. Shred factor 2/10.
