Mid Coast

The wind is light from the East and conditions are clean and glassy on the Mid Coast early, but there’s almost no swell. Surf is only shin high on a few of the reefs, and then it’s only spots that can handle the big morning tide. Not long after the tide starts to head out, the wind will start to pick up from the North, tending NW by late morning. A Southerly wind change is expected after lunch, and by late arvo it should be a bit cooler with S-SE winds at 15 – 20 knots. The breeze will add a few bumps, but surf will remain in the sub 1′ category by the looks. Outlook for the rest of the week is in the latest surf forecast. Shred factor 1/10
