Mid Coast

Conditions are clean on the Mid Coast early with winds back to a light sou-easter, and some small lines of swell are sneaking in. There are 1′ waves on the reefs, but a weird dodge tide has left many a bit shallow. There is a 0.9m low tide just after 11am, so there’s a chance of a slight lift in wave heights early arvo. Winds looks like they’ll stay light all day – not much over 5 – 7 knots but probably shifting to a light sea breeze after lunch. There will be some incoming tide for much of the afternoon but it will be very slow. Outlook for the rest of the week is in the latest surf forecast. Hint… stormy. Shred factor 4/10
