Mid Coast

The wind is from the SSE at 7 knots on the Mid Coast early, some more East in it would be good but at least some swell remains. There are 1′ waves on the reefs with occasional bigger sets, coming up yo high tide at 0720. Conditions are fairly clean, but the wind has added a slight wobble to it. Only full-tide spots are breaking, but as the tide drops a few more options may open up after 9am. Low tide at 1:50pm will expose a lot of reef again and favour the beach breaks. There should still be a few waves on the incoming tide, but the breeze will most likely be up to 20 knots from the South. Exposed stretches will be pretty chopped up, the Southern end of South Port should be part sheltered. An evening sou-easter may clean it up after 6pm but probably bot until sunset or later. Outlook for the rest of the week is in the latest surf forecast. Shred factor 5/10
