Mid Coast

The wind has gon ’round to the SW on the Mid Coast overnight, and it’s bumpy this morning with 12 knot onshores. There’s no actual surf, just a foot or so of lump from the wind. New swell will start to push in later, but it will come with 25 knots SW-S winds by late morning. Wave heights should lift 1 – 2′ after lunch, but anywhere exposed will be pretty messed up by the wind. The southern end of South Port will offer partial protection late arvo, Surfing SA will have the groms out there tonight. Outlook for the rest of the week is in the latest surf forecast.
