Mid Coast

The swell is bigger on the Mid Coast this morning, but 10 knot South winds have added bumps to it. Surf is around 2′ but it’s a dodge tide today, and a few spots are looking a bit shallow. The beach breaks are picking up the swell though, and South Port is part sheltered at the Southern end. The wind will pick up to 17 knots or so through the middle part of the day, but should ease and tend more SW in the evening. The swell should stick around, so a late paddle may be the go. Outlook for the rest of the week is in the latest surf forecast. Shred factor 5/10
