Mid Coast

The wind is from the East and conditions are clean on the Mid Coast early, but the swell remains disappointing. There are a few 1′ lines hitting some of the reefs, but it’s inconsistent and very full coming up to high tide at 8am. The outgoing tide will kick in after 9am and really not help, although the low tide at 2pm may reveal a few more waves at South Port. There are no banks, of course. A sea breeze will kick in after lunch and add a few bumps, and it’ll settle in for the better part of the afternoon. High tide is at 0820 tonight and it’s bigger, so expect it to fill up quickly after 0630pm. Outlook for tomorrow is in the latest surf forecast. Shred factor 3/10
