Mid Coast

The wind is light from the ENE and conditions are clean on the Mid Coast early, but the swell is still small and poorly aimed. There are tiny lines on the reefs coming up to high tide, but nothing surfable with waves only around shin-high. Not much will change as the tide runs out, and through low tide at lunch it’ll remain small. There will be a lot of reef exposed so you could go out and socially isolate yourself for a while, along with about 1000 other people if yesterday is any indication. The wind will go light and variable before switching to a sou-easter after lunch – probably on;y 12 knots or so. Surf will remain small to near flat all day but at least it’ll be nice outside. Enjoy it while you can – level 2 lockdown could be days away. Outlook heading into the weekend is in the latest surf forecast, but you’ll get a fresh one tonight. Shred factor 1/10
