South Coast

The breeze has a hint of North in it on the South Coast this morning, but at 10 knots the East-Nor-easter is still maintaining a bit of a wobble in the swell. It’s a bit smaller too, with surf around 2′ at Middleton, and not much bigger down toward Cliffs and Goolwa. It’s semi-clean around at Chiton / Gap with a few 1 – 2′ waves, Parson’s will offer a bit more size and fairly clean conditions early. The wind will be light for much of the morning, but a 10 – 15 knot sou-easter will probably settle in for the arvo. The next few hours will stay semi-clean, but you should expect quality to deteriorate after lunch was the onshore breeze picks up. Outlook for the rest of the week is in the latest surf forecast. Shred factor 6/10
