Mid Coast

There’s no wind on the Mid Coast early and conditions are clean and glassy – but maybe nor for long. The swell has lifted slightly, and there are 1′ waves on the reefs with occasional bigger sets. Tides are still weird, low tide is at 0820 and just under 1′, then the tide lifts 1.0m until 3pm. The incoming movement will give the swell a push after 10am, but that will probably coincide with Northerly winds puck up 10 – 15 knots. The wind won’t destroy it, but it will add a bit of a lump to the swell. Some breaks will handle it better than others. The wind should drop out again later for an arvo glass off, so keep an eye on it for a late one.
