Mid Coast

7 knot South winds are adding a few bumps on the Mid Coast again this morning, with a similar lazy swell to yesterday. Surf is only around 1′ with the tide heading out, low is at 11am. Low water will favour Trigs and South Port, but neither will be epic and probably only offer knee-high learner / mally waves. The incoming tide may offer a temporary improvement, but with 15 knot Southerlies the southern end of South Port will be about the only spot offering any shelter. The arvo tide is a biggie with no moon, and it’ll already be very fat and slow by 3pm. The wind should swing to the SE late and clean it up – probably around sunset. Surf will remain in the 1′ range all day.
