Conditions are clean on the Mid Coast early with li9ght offshore East winds, but only small swell. There are occasional 1′ waves hitting the reefs coming off high tide at 0550, but there’s not a lot in between. The dropping tide won’t help it much, and the wind swinging to the North mid- morning won’t wither. Low tide may deliver a few small waves to Trigs and South Port, and the incoming tide may lift wave heights slightly after lunch. North wind at 10 -15 knots are predicted, which may add a few bumps. High tide is huge at 05:45, and most spots will be too full after 4pm. Outlook for the rest of the week is in the updated surf forecast.
