Mid Coast

NW winds have dropped back to around 10 knots on the Mid Coast early, but conditions are still pretty bumpy. There’s groundswell and 2′ waves under the chop, and the tide is just about to start heading out. Low tide at lunch will provide a few bumpy waves at South Port and Trigs, but from late morning onward it looks like the wild will start to build ahead of another cold front. The forecast is for Nor-westers to 30 knots again later today, so it’ll suit wind and kite surfers mush better than surfers. Moana North was OK mid arvo yesterday, so if the wind holds off give it a look on the incoming tide.
