Conditions are once clean on the South Coast with offshore North winds at 7 knots, but a very westerly swell has put a cap on size. Surf at Middleton is only around 1 – 2, but there are occasional bigger sets between Cliffs and Goolwa. Shortboard surfers will still be better heading ’round to Waits and Parson;’s for a look. The BoM predicts NW winds will begin to strengthen again mid-late morning, and the offshores may be up around 30 knots or more after lunch. Once the wind returns it’ll stay blow out forth rest of the day. Grab a few early before that happens if you can.
