Mid Coast

The wind had eased on the Mid Coast early after a blustery night, back to around 20 knots from the WSW early. Gulf waters are big and messy with surf in the 3 – 4′ range and some big froth monsters breaking farther out. Sheltered spots will be your best options today, Dumpers, Adelaide’s worst kept secret spot, maybe a couple of others out of the wind. There’s probably not enough in it for metro beaches but you might get a few stormy waves at Brighton. The wind may get up around 25 knots at times, but it should drop back to 15 knots or so by evening. Outlook for the rest of the week in the latest forecast.
