Mid Coast

The wind is very light from the NNE and conditions are clean and glassy on the Mid Coast early once again. There are a few lines of swell left from yesterday but it has changed direction a bit, so the wait for sets is a bit longer. There are 1′ waves on the reefs and occasional bigger sets, coming up to high tide at 8am. The dropping tide and a light North wind will adversely affect conditions after 9am, but low tide between 1 and 2pm might reveal a few more waves on the beach breaks and at Trigs. The incoming tide will give the swell a minor push after 3pm, and it probably won’t get too full too fast. The wind should stay light but it might take the gloss off a bit after lunch. There’ll still be small waves al day. Fresh surf forecast is up, check it for the weekend outlook.
