North winds have been up overnight but they’ve dropped back to 10 knots on the Mid Coast early, leaving a few bumps behind. Surf is around 1′ but quality is not special, the tide is coming in until 1130. The breeze will be back up around 20 knots by mid-morning adding more bumps, and as the tide fills up there probably won’t be any surfable options. After lunch the swell should lift slightly but with the tide heading out slowly all afternoon, it’s not ideal. You may scrape up a few peaks at South Port or Moana later today, but you’d be better off under kite or sail power. Outlook for the rest of the week is in the latest surf forecast.
