South Coast

The South Coast has a bit of a hangover this morning after putting ion a great show of classic winter conditions over the weekend. Conditions are clean and the breeze is light offshore from the North, but the swell has really dropped. Waves are back to 1′ at Middleton, and it’s not a whole lot bigger down toward Cliffs and Goolwa. You will definitely need a lot of foam to pick up anything. The wind will start to pick up not long after sunrise, and by mid-morning it’ll be in the 15 knots range, It won;t be enough to blow it out, but after lunch it is expected to put on another 5 knots or so. The swell will remain small all day, so early may be as good as it gets. Check the latest surf forecast to see how this week is shaping up.
