Mid Coast

Conditions have moderated on the Mid Coast and winds are back to around 10 – 15 knots from the WSW. The sea is also looking calmer but still nursing a stormy hangover, with choppy surf around 2 – 3′. The tide’s heading out and low is around 10:30, then it’s a fairly large incoming tide until the arvo peak at 5:5pm. It’ll improve all day today with winds forecast to ease further, and become light and variable by mid arvo. The reefs shouldn’t have a few waves on the incoming tide, probably still a bit wobbly from the wind but a lot cleaner. It’ll get very full after 4pm. Shred factor 4/10
