WSW winds are still up around 20 knts on the South Coast this morning, but conditions are starting to moderate. Swell still has a lot of west in it and exposed stretches are still pretty blown out. Surf is bumpy and around 3- 4′ along the Middleton – Goolwa stretch, but the Bay is offering partial shelter. It’s cleaner and 2′ around at Chiton / Gap, and bigger out the other side of Victor. Conditions will improve all day today with winds decreasing and becoming variable by early arvo, possibly offshore NE-N by late arvo. Anytime after 1pm should have fairly clean waves, worth a paddle.
