Mid Coast

North winds are already 17 knots on the Mid Coast and conditions are bumpy, a shame since there’s still some swell. Surf is around 1′ on the reefs with occasional bigger sets, heading toward low tide at 8am. The incoming tide may lift wave heights slightly after 0930, but with the wind tending more NW and possibly up to 25 knots. That’s how most of the day will pan out, save a late shift to WNW winds and a possible easing late arvo. It’s a better day for kiting or windsurfing on the Mid – head south for more options. Outlook for the rest of the week is in the latest ( updated last night ) surf forecast.
