Mid Coast

Conditions are clean and glassy on the Mid Coast early, and there’s even some swell leftover from yesterday. Surf is around 1 – 2′ on the reefs under the moonlight, coming up to high tide at 0620. The outgoing tide will affect the consistency of the sets after 8am, but it may be the wind that does it in. The BoM predicts a 10 – 15 knot Northerly will pop up around sunrise, and that will take the gloss off. Best hope is it holds off for a little while at least. There will be something surfable all day, and the incoming tide after lunch will probably give the swell a minor push after 2pm. N-NW winds at 15 knots will maintain a bit of a bump for the rest of the day, but don’t be surprised to see it drop out mid – late arvo again. Outloook heading into the working week is in the latest surf forecast.
