There’s plenty of swell on the South Coast and the wind is offshore from the NW at 7 knots, but the swell looks a bit raw. Surf is easily 4′ at Middleton, but there are some bigger sets breaking a looooong way out between Day St. and Goolwa. There are a few 3 – 4′ sets around at Chiton / Gap, and clean 2′ waves at The Dump for the grommies. The wind should remain NW all day, and doesn’t look like it’ll get much above 7 – 10 knots. The swell will stick around too, and it will probably straighten up a bit after lunch. It’s worth a trip to get some good-sized, clean-ish waves.
