Mid Coast

A light NE wind is trying to clean up the Mid Coast this morning, but onshores overnight have left it bumpy. There’s a small, new swell buried under there somewhere, but surf is only around 1′ on the reefs. The tide is running out until 1045, and low tide will probably produce a few more waves on the beach breaks and at Trigs. A NW wind at 10 – 15 knots will probably maintain bumpy conditions through the middle part of the day. The incoming tide should produce a lift in wave heights, and there’s also the chance of the wind dropping out, tending NE again mid – late arvo. High tide is just before 5pm. Check the latest surf forecast to see how the rest of the week is looking.
