The South Coast is on the pump this morning with a well defined, new swell groomed by light offshore NW winds. There are nicely lined up 3′ waves at Middleton, but a few sets around 4′ are breaking along the Day St. to Goolwa stretch. There are 2 – 3′ waves around at Chiton and The Gap, Waits and Parson’s will be pretty solid and head high to overhead. The BoM predicts NW winds will pick up to around 20 knots, then shift NE mid arvo and ease off. The swell is on the rise, and it might get large later today. Worth pulling a sicky.
