Mid Coast

The ol’ witches wind has been howling all night on the Mid Coast, and early ESE winds are still gusting over 20 knots. The wind has blown the tiny swell away, and it’s practically dead flat this morning. The tide is running out until 1145 and it’s only 35cm, so a lot of reef will be exposed after 10am. The low tide probably won’t see any miracles at South Port or Trigs, but the wind should start to lighten off around then. The breeze looks like it’ll tend more SE and probably blow around 15 knots for the rest of the day. There’s not much hope for waves on the incoming tide, but conditions should be clean all day.
