Mid Coast

SSE winds are around 15 knots this morning on the Mid Coast, not that it matters much. Coming up to high tide at 8am there’s not much swell, and again it’s only fat one footers hitting a few of the reefs. The dropping tide won’t help, and even low tide will only offer small peelers at the Southern end of South Port. The wind should ease off at least from late morning onward, but it will probably stay in the 15 knot range for the rest of the day. The incoming tide does not look promising at all, and wave heights will probably stay barely 1′. Check the latest surf forecast to see if there’s any hope in the next few days.
