Mid Coast

The Mid Coast has tried it’s best to muster a few tiny waves this morning, but it seems to have a bit of a grand final hangover. Winds are from the East and offshore, but Sotherlies yesterday have left it lumpy, with surf around 1′ on the reefs. High tide is at 0820, and once it starts to head out after 9am the drain will kill what little swell there is’ Lower water late morning might reveal a few peelers on the reefs, with low tide at 1:30 favoring Trigs and the beach breaks. By that stage the wind looks more Southerly and possibly back up around 20 knots – so it’ll become bumpy again. The Southern end of South Port may offer a grovel of some sort late arvo. Check the surf forecast to see how the next few days are looking.
