Mid Coast

The wind has dropped out overnight and it’s calm on the Mid Coast early this morning, with glassy conditions. There are still a few small liens of swell and 1′ waves on the reefs, coming up to high tide at 0730. Not everywhere is breaking with the high water, and once the tide start to drain out after 9am options will decrease further. Low tide early arvo will favour Trigs and the beach breaks, and a few of the other reefs will start to break again mid arvo as the tide starts to rise again. It’s looking like a sea breeze will kick in late morning and add some bumps, but it should smooth off again in the evening with a sou-easter. Don’t forget to social distance and use common sense today! Check the updated surf forecast to see how the next few days are looking.
