Mid Coast

A neat little storm cell rolled through early this morning with thunder and lightning, and a short burst of heavy rain. It’s cleared away leaving behind light ESE winds and clean conditions, and there are still a few small lines on the reefs. Surf is around 1′ with rare bigger sets, coming up to high tide just before 8am. The outgoing tide will snuff out the small swell after 9am, but low water between 1 and 2pm should bring a few more waves to the beach breaks and Trigs. About the same time a SW change will arrive, and 20 knot onshore winds will chop up whatever remains of this swell. It’ll be topped up by a new swell late arvo, but with SW-S winds it will most likely be bumpy for the rest of the day. Check the updated surf forecast to see how the next few days are looking.
