Mid Coast

Winds are from the NW at around 5 – 7 knots on the Mid Coast early, and conditions are clean with a bit of a Northerly bump in the swell. There are half a foot waves on the reefs with rare 1′ sets, getting no help from today’s dodge tide. A SW-S change will roll through during the morning and winds will pick up to around 15 knots after lunch. We’ll get a few bumpy 1′ waves later but quality and size won’t be that tempting. A late shift back to SE winds may open up the possibility of small Mally waves in the evening. Shred factor 2/10
