N-NE winds have been gusting over 20 knots on the Mid Coast early, but now the wind seems to have dropped ahead of a wind change. There are 1′ waves on the reefs with occasional bigger sets, and it’s bumpy from the wind. A W-SW change is due almost any time from now on, and winds will be onshore for the rest of the day after the change. It’s not a strong front so we won’t get a stormy – just messy 1 – 2′ wind + ground swell. Shred factor 4/10
