South Coast

Winds are light from the West on the South Coast early, and swell is reasonably well lined up and fairly clean. Surf around 4 – 5′ along the Middleton – Goolwa stretch, and 3 – 4′ around at Chiton / Gap. Winds will remain dead onshore for most of the morning, but there is a ray of hope with a shift to W-SW later. The forecast predicts winds will only tend more offshore and Northerly during the day, and won’t get much over 10 knots after lunch. It’s looking good for the rest of the day. Shred factor 7/10
